Most probably the results are not out.
Even i had applied but the results are not out.Did u apply for dv 2007?
if yes then wait for the next year to arrive.If u had applied for DV2006 then the results will be available on their official website.
If u dont know the official website name
just use the keyword 'green card lottery' in google

They don't! Normally your Ticket or whatever should have a contact phone number and/or Website to check your numbers. Also, you may only have a certain time limit to claim if you win.

Lotteries don't contact you. You contact them. If you don't claim aprize, they generally keep the winnings after a year has passed.
If you think you won, contact them quickly and begin your claim.

they should contact you by mail, but it takes a while.... keep your address current... and you may be able to check on the status.... I am not sure
