Why answer any of your questions? You seem to have alot posted. Your not looking for answers or seeking the truth. Your spiritually blind. Why would you care why Jesus wept? He cried because he was about to be seperated from God for a while. And wouldn't taking the punishment for billions of sinners make you cry? Like you didn't know this already.

If Jesus cried, I'm sure it was because of the sad state of humanity...that's enough to break anyone's heart. Yes, some christians do cry for atheists...
The Door to living in God's Presence, in fellowship with Him, was closed when the first Adam was kicked out...(which ruined it for everyone) before this he was perfect and knew God deeply. A second perfect Adam reopened the Door so that we could be restored to the original Relationship. So man chooses which Adam he wants to follow. Not choosing just leaves you in the first one...I know not all can understand this, but at least you won't be able to say, "But Lord...I DIDN'T KNOW! Nobody ever told me!"
This "saving of sinners" is just another way of saying, "come into the second Adam and Live."

Yeah, you did get some nonsense answers here.
Boiling bones to age them? Can you do that?
Having said that, here's my version...God became flesh for three main reasons...He wanted to give us the opportunity to know God face to face (He had been terribly misunderstood for eons and still is), He wanted the experience of living as a Man among men, including the temptations all men face (it does say that He was tempted in all ways as any other man), and finally, in order to sacrifice that flesh on the altar of our salvation.
I don't remember reading that He left out atheists. I think it says ALL...if atheists were left out, it wouldn't be ALL, would it?

Jesus died for your sins whether you believe it or not. Christians believe that Jesus died for every human being that ever lived or will live. Yes, that means even if you are an athiest. Maybe you don't believe this, but that is the truth if you are a Christian believer.

Hmmm...why did he cry?...well there's the :"take this cup from me" ...and "Eloh,Eloh why have you forsaken me "....then when they were gambling for his gear ... I think "Forgive them, for they know not what they do " ....
That's about all there is ...he was having a pretty shoddy day, similar to the tortures alot of future pagans would experience at Christian hands...
But I think you are quite right ... nothing in his own words about dying for unbelievers ... So I think you're all clear there ...
Saul-Paul might have started that rumor later ...after he decided not to mass execute Christians anymore ... and had that light in his head that made him blind for a while ... thanks to him,the Christians got their war of the "spirit against the flesh" ... but even in his doctrine of evangelism- I think it was still the believers that Jesus was supposed to have died for...

Jesus died for *everyone's* sins. To all of those who say that Jesus didn't die for atheists, read John's Gospel. It's targetted at *everyone*.

You should watch "Passion of the Christ" - Jesus died for everyone and any anguish, pain, rejection, betrayal you have ever experienced was experienced by Jesus as well. He cried because he was aching and not just physical aching, I mean spiritual aching. When spirit fills you, it is natural to cry. God Bless YOU!

Apparently, when Jesus died on the cross, his sacrifice was made for everyone. If Jesus was the Son of God, then his love would be all-encompassing wouldn't it? He had love for all despite their beliefs. This is what I was taught at school anyway.

John 11
33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied.
35Jesus wept.
As we can see, Jesus cried here not because he was sad about the death of Lazarus, but because of the great sadness being expressed in the crowd, clearly being true man the power of human emotion caused Him to cry when he felt the sadness of the crowd.
A common Christian saying is, "Lies made baby Jesus cry"

hey jim. Jesus Christ died for all of us, not just for the believers. He died for atheists, Christians, Buddhists, any other religion out there, Osama (yes Osama), you, me. Jesus Christ wanted to forgive our sins so that we may have life. The only way He was able to do that was to give up His own. I hope this answers your question jim. by the way, thanks for all the questions, they really make me look into my faith and God's love a lot deeper. God bless you.
