Sorry very few people actually suffer from health conditions or medications which cause uncontrollable weight gain. Some have a harder time controling weight for various reasons. Just like some people have a harder time reading or chewing gum and walking or whatever. We all have difficulties to overcome.

Blaming food for obesity is like blaming the Earth for obesity. If there was no gravity then people would not be overweight as there would be no wieght right? Of course if you shovel twinkies in one right after the other and don't exercise your going to get fat. Doesn't take much IQ to figure that out.

1) Fast food, ready meals, junk food - everyone is always rushing around in life so eat this stuff for convenience.

2) People who are bored/unfufilled/depressed eat more than necessary to comfort themselves.

3) More people eat food for taste rather than nutritional value ie they prefer to eat chocolate, sweets, fried foods etc than a healthy salad or pasta.

4) Not enough or no exercise in their life.

5) Hereditary and/or illness that causes slow metabolishm and makes people gain weight and is hard to lose it.

I read that not getting enough sleep can make you prone to being overweight.

But of course it's diet and lack of exercise, drinking too much, leading a sedentary lifestyle... all those things.
