Oh yeah you can!!! The thing is we always remember and glorify our first love so much and how great things were and how perfect they were and just what if things would of worked out and how great life would be....well the best way to get over that is to meet them again and see all their flaws and how they are probably more screwed up then most everyone else you have been with lol. Just an example about 10 tens years after I had my first love I saw them again and they were on their way to jail for stabbing someone (thank god wasnt me lol) just remember the good but dont obsess on how things they might have been.

NO, i'm 32 now and i still think of the girl i was first in love with i've not seen her in the time since we were together when she was a month or two older than me she was 16 i was 15 just about to turn 16.
I wish i knew where she was now and what she was doing.
I just hope she is happy healthy and in a loving relationship.

I think they can..because some people have the power to forget very fast...or others just dont know if it was love...I would remember just the person..but i wouldnt feel nothing about it...as long as im not with "him". SO if you find the real love youll forget the other.. :)

I will never forget my first love. He was killed 2 weeks before our wedding by a drunk driver. But no i dont think anyone can. That first time falling in love is something one doesnt forget.

I don't know, I haven't found one yet, but if you wern't ment to be with the person you first fell in love with and then you found the person that you were ment for, I believe that you would be able to forget the first. If you find you soulmate, no one else will matter. Good luck.

No. Why would you want to? He/she teaches you valuable lessons for later relationships. You learn what works and doesn't through trial and error. Better to have had a first love that left, than never to have had one. After all, you want to be in prime shape when you meet the right one. :)

I don't think we ever forget our first love. I haven't. As long as we are not obsessing over them, and it doesn't interfere with our current or future relationships. It is always nice to remember that first love.

no, you can't forget... that's why its a first love. If you forgot, then the next love would be first! You can get over him or her through time, but they'll always lurk in the shadows!
