Scotland are not in the World Cup simply because they didn't make it through the qualifying stages, like many other countries that are only partially interested in the game.

Because they didn't qualify. They used to be good (by good, I mean good enough to qualify for a World Cup. Much like Saudi arabia) but they're not any more. The quality of young Scottish players coming through at the moment are just not up to scratch.

After Engurland imposed the poll tax on Scotland we all sneaked off and had a secret ballot. We unanimously decided that to gain revenge we would give up football and concentrate on important things, like running Engurland! Therefore our national team became crap but we now control Engurland and they were to busy watching the footie and worying about whether posh is 2 thin and Colleens handbag matches her socks too notice!

That is an easy question. Scotland is unable to qualify for wwc because the sfa, spl and the rest have not provided the national coaches with the resources that they need. nor do we have players who are capable of doing the game justice.

Because at least 32 other countries have better teams who were able to qualify - these include Angola, USA, Iran, Trinidad & Tobago...

Because we're not very good. But if we had a more healthy, affluent population, and had 10 times as many people as certain nearby countries do, we would expect to win more than once every 76 years.

Cos we asked a German to coach us and he produced a bloated bratwurst that couldn't hit a cow in the jacksie with a banjo. Maybe in 2010 now that we have a decent coach and are starting to produce promising youngsters again.
