Healthy is whatever two people can deal with, without going insane or becoming psycho.

I think it's best if you have communication, love and all that crap - however I know that's not the norm for a lot of relationships these days, hence my answer above.

I have a lot of married friends who are either obsessive or can barely tolerate each other. Thank god that I have the ideal relationship.

Oh btw - NEVER Get married just because you are pregnant, that'll just compact the problems you already have. Trust me, I've seen it happen too many times (to friends and family). If you are pregnant, have the baby then get married in a couple of years. I mean your kid is going to be a illegit anyhow, why compact the problem?

A healthy relationship to me is when the couple support each other emotionally, good comunication skills, can deal with being apart for a little while, can trust thier partner, and aren't finacially dependent on the other. If you cant support yourself on your own, take a look at the person your with, can they? and ask yourself if you and your partner have the same quality's I've typed. because money is the last reason you should be with someone

True friendship is what makes a relationship. After the heat and infatuation of a new relationship wears off it is when you still enjoy being around this person and they feel the same about you.

Most importantly both have to have the same feelings for each other and are not trying to change each other to meet unrealistic expectations.

I would say a healthy relationship is one where you can communicate with each other - there's a give and take of information - not just one sided. You both feel appreciated. You both feel loved and supported.

Most importantly - is what you feel a healthy relationship is. Usually, if it hurts, emotionally or physically, it's not healthy. Doesn't mean it can't become healthy if it is emotional hurt.

Respect for self, respect for the other. Communication. Honesty. Flexibility with each other. Each person should truly respect the other person for whom they are. With these things you can develop a strong and lasting love relationship.

What a healthy relationship doesn't have - verbal or physical abuse.

A healthy relationship is one in which both give of each other equally.neither one can be dependent on the other or else it becomes unhealthy.you must both be free to love each other in your own way and be able to be open and honest with each other.

When you can still wake up next to them after 10,20, 30 or more years and not wish it was someone else. Or if you can communicate with each other and are open to each others suggestion....in bed and out of course! Basically, when you don't want to kill the person...LOL

Communication, trust, love, and knowing you feel comfortable around them. If you can't talk to them, trust them, and even feel comfortable around the,, it will not work out.
