This depends on your situation. If you are young and suddenly enjoying great success, say playing the violin, then you will very easily get used to being applauded and begin to think that is normal, once you've "arrived." But then, you have to endure hours, days and weeks before you play for the public and get applauded. And, during that time you feel depressed. If this is the case then you are normal and just adjusting to your reality. It takes time and you have to get over it. If you have these kinds of mood swings without this being the case it may be that you are fantasiing some great success and then feeling depressed when it doesn't happen. For this you have to adjust to knowing what is fantasy and what is not. Some people cannot and they are called "manic" or "bi-polar."

Depression is a state of being caused by a chemical imbalance within your brain. Depressed is over an issue...like your girlfriend. Bipolar disorder has certain characterisitics..like mood swings. I would consult a psychiatrist and have them do an evaluation.

well u could be depressed about ur girlfriend kinda like now u have an empitness or something but to me it seems like bipolar
bipolar is Relating to a major affective disorder that is characterized by episodes of mania and depression. like your energized then the next ur like buzz off and leave me alone. i would go to your doctor to be truely diagnosed but it sounds to me like bipolar.

u need to get wit da program and get a new boyfriend/girlfreind.you need to realize that people around you don't apriciate that behavior.and if your life still sucks do sothing new and fun.change your job,buy new cloths, give your room a makeover.Maybe thats all you need some change.
