Give me some good answers here. This is a discussion I've been going through with some people I know.

well there's the obvious, which is sex. i also consider kissing & touching cheating. now depending on the circumstance like if someone died and they hugged for a couple minutes that would be ok but other than that a hug longer than say 5 or 10 seconds is iffy (of the opposite sex ofcourse). an emotional attachment to another female that's not his mother or sister (you get the idea). i'm okay with my guy having friends who are girls but it makes me uncomfortable if they are toooooo close. it's not cheating but it's iffy. my guy had a girl-friend when we started dating and she claimed for YEARS that she never thought of him like that blah blah blah but when she found out we were getting married she was really upset. come to find out the truth was she did have feelings for him!! i knew it in my heart too!! she and i had a friendly relationship but i knew better than to think they were just friends. cybering with a webcam is cheating. without a webcam......if it's far and few between i don't think it's cheating but if it's always with the same person you develop a relationship, a bond of sexual nature and i kind of consider that cheating.

When he actually acts on his desire for another woman.
Especially in long term relationships the guy or the girl can get excited about another person. That's normal. If the guy decides to act on that feeling it means that he no longer respects his partner and maybe he's ready to move on.
Of course looking at beautiful girl passing by in the street is not cheating. Girls do it too. At least it doesn't bother me.
P.S. Also what I mean by saying "act on it" doesn't mean only have sex with the other person, it also means to call the other person, generally be in touch with them

Any sexual contact is construed as cheating in my books. Kissing, touching, sex of any sort and because my boyfriend has a foot fetish I would also consider it cheating if he massaged or kissed another girls feet. It's sexual to him so therefore it's cheating.
Taking another girl out to dinner and a movie (or something) is also cheating. Even if there's no sex it's still emotional cheating.

I think only if you had something special going and you screwed up then yes. If a guy doesn't feel bad about it than he was just using you. If a guy does feel bad then he will probably feel worse than you because they are worried that they will never be taken back or forgiven.

My guy has cheated anytime he has put his hands on another woman in any way other than friendly.
