The key is why are you losing faith? I lost faith once due to the challenge of evolution. I have since realized how evolution is wrong and am now a christian again.
Investigate what is causing you to lose faith and find out what the Bible has to say about it.
Here is the link to the website I used to counter evolution.

My guess is that you are have not found a church family, gotten involved in a small group study that gives you the christian fellowship and the foundation there. Make sure when you search you look for a group that uses the Bible as it's only source. Another thing I would ask for you to do is to Pray. Ask God to reveal Himself to you. He knows all. He allows us to have a choice. Our time here on earth is but a second compared to the time we have in Heaven. Research, evaluate your life, once you surrender to God and allow Him to take your life, your life will change completely and you will have no doubt what-so-ever. Another thing you really need to do is to stay in God's word daily. This is not so difficult to do but with time constraints and our busy lives we often put it off. A few minutes a day and mediating on what you have read in the car on your way to work should do it. And I would say talk to God, talk out loud. Let Him know how you feel. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Do not forget that and leave God. I wish you the best. God Bless and "Keep" you.

I can certainly understand why. Its very hard to keep your faith with all the unrest and devastation in this world. I am still struggling with my faith. I keep wondering why these terrible things happen and why can't Jesus step in and stop all of this. They say that everything has a reason and a purpose, be it good or bad.
Its very hard to keep blind faith, but without believing in something we would all be totally lost. I always keep that in mind, and it does help to cope with things. I would not give up being a christian. Keep your faith as hard as it at times. As long as you are a good person and do the right things, that is a reward in itself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Wow, did the infamous Fred Phelps of Godhatesfags.com actually answer you? Well if he did or didn't he is the perfect example of what I mean. Under the banner of Christ they travel to military funerals to torment the poor people who've lost a love one by claiming that since the United States does not prosecute homosexuality but tolerates it, every death in Iraq is God's vengeance on the evil country and the 'f a g g o t' soldiers. Nice guy, huh? Well that certainly provides my message with italics and double-underlining . . .
I don't know if Jesus would be a Christian given the centuries long hypocrisy and atrocities committed in his name by so-called Christians. Jesus was all about experiencing contact with the divine. You don't need to be religious to do that . . . just open yourself up to spiritual experience in the every day events of life. Good luck!

Your question is so very broad that it really prohibits anyone from 'convincing' you to stay in the fold. Nobody can do that for you. Whatever time you have spent, whatever you have been taught about the Word of God, you should know that it's a faith walk. You can't 'see' this thing in order to live it out - you have to have faith to believe IT IS - and that GOD IS. Period. Nobody can convince you. I am so sorry that whatever your situation is, and whatever trials and storms you have had to or are facing, that it is so challenging that you want to run. Now is not the time. The time to really hang on is in the midst of the trial. Please email me. I would love to help you through this. I don't have all the answers, but I know I have been through sickness, debt, death, and many other things I could list but STILL I know - God loves me and wants the best for me and since I have been given free will - I am the only one that can effect change in my life. I must walk through it and not stop. Please email me. I'd love to share with you.

if you can't come up with the reasons for yourself, then there is no reason. you shouldn't be a Christian just for "fire insurance." if you aren't experiencing a relationship with God that would make you want to continue following him, I'd say you aren't really a christian to begin with. there is a difference in just believing that Jesus was a real person and believing in Him for forgiveness of sins and experiencing a relationship with him.

First you have to pray for Holy Spirit....Faith is a fruit/product of holy spirit...
Then you need to continue doing that, and continue growing in faith and love and true knowledge...
Luke 11:13b..how much more so will the Father give holy spirit to those asking him.
Acts 5:32b..and so is the holy spirit which God has given to those obeying him as ruler.
1John 4:7 Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and gains the knowledge of God.
Reasons...Love, Life, Meaning in life...

Sounds like your getting smarter.
Christianity is a worthless crutch, a tissue of lies for people who are too stupid, ignorant or brainwashed to face up to their own mortality. Jesu wasn't a Christian, and he never claimed to be devine. congratulations on your spiritual growth.
