Because truth is absolutely different for every individual, since no one occupies the same space at the same moment as anyone else, or has the same experiences as anyone else. As a human, you would never be able to experience or comprehend "absolute truth." When you try to convince others that there is such a thing, people intuitively know you are lying to them. Why should they trust someone who's only trying to control and brainwash them? If they are smart they will run as fast as they can in the other direction.
Which is better: to be absolutely sure of something that doesn't exist, or to be reasonably sure about God and to accept the rest on faith? I would say you take the first approach. But I believe that whole lot of nothing is worth nothing!

What is "abOsolute" truth? There is no such thing as absolute truth. Every person has their own mind, we have a "BRAIN". We can see what is there in front of us, don't need to let other form of whatever to show us the path. Look up the dictionary of reality, "Absolute", means "NO". There is nothing in this world that is 100% correct. You might get close, 99.9999999999%, but not perfect.

There is no absolute truth.. Just sit back a bit and ask WHY ?? Why did God create the Universe ? Why did God make it so big ? Why did God make 9 planets in the Solar system and only put life on one planet ? Why did God create the dinosaurs and then destroy them ? Why is God so malevolent : all those famines, pestilances, floods and diseases he cast down on us ?
These are all simple questions I would like an answer to before I even begin to accept there is the slightest remotest chance of there being a God.
