i have a windows xp disc, how do i install it over the current windows that i have, and where can i get a COA for it (lost the pouch for the disc) i've tried a couple of different ones but it won't work

you don't want to install over the current xp. Delete the partition that the current xp is in and do a new install. Just follow the directions when you run the disk.

Set the system BIOS to boot from the CD then, mail me for the number. Get the number and wait and watch. Do not remove any partitions just install in any free space or partition without formatting it (if space is available) as otherwise all data will be lost.

You're hosed without the C of A and its serial number; you'll have to buy another copy of XP if you can't find it. That warning is on the label for a reason!

It's very simple....! place CD in u r ROM and boot the system with CD ROM support. Fallow the steps and it automatically remove previous windows and install-es fresh one.
