Pickup lines are a lot like diets: they never work. On the other hand a guy who is comfortable with women can take the same sorry line that some nervous idiot tried and five minutes later use it on the same girl with terrific success . . . success is not in the lines but rather in the delivery and the deliverer LOL.
Definitely the best pickup line of all time and most useful in the most situations is:
"Hi!"
I've also used the more complex,
"Pardon me, but I'm looking for a 23-year old virgin with a 350 IQ and at least two Olympic Gold Medals . . ."
Since I'm 59 and talking to women between 35-45, it always gets a laugh and starts a pleasant conversation. Most often the 'old girls' will say something like, "Yeah, that's me!" and give me a big smile.

Ok, your first mistake is asssuming that pick up lines work. The second one is asking people on the internet what they think works. Unfortunately many of the people here will not have had a pickup line work for them and probably never will. So most of the answeres are from people who don't know wha they are talking about. So in closing don't use pick up lines because after that you still need a personaity and if you don't have one it will hurt more when you lose the girl you had more than the one who you never got in the first place.
