Join the club! my kittens are 11.5 months old and still run around crazy at night. what we have done is got a large dog crate that is big enough to put a small litterbox and some water in and if they are making a lot of nosie or doing things they shouldn't do at night we put them in "their room".
hope that helps!

If you have cat nip toys that the kitten is playing with it could be that it is getting some of the cat nip in it's system. I am not advising you to take the toys away from the kitten. As far as a kitten being active that is a good thing. If it is a male then it will calm down after he gets fixed. I have a male and he was the same way until he was fixed at 11 months. He still plays with his sister but he is so mischievous.

My last cat was crazy like this. It would wake me up in the middle of the night because it would attack my feet whenever I moved. That was not a pleasant feeling but it was funny. That cat would play with ANYTHING. It would even try to play with things on tv.
I am getting a 10 week old very soon as well and cannot wait for the craziness.

The kitten is just seeking attention. Get it plenty of cat toys n scratch board also. play well with the kitten during day time. Ur kitten may not disturb u at night if it likes playin with its cat toys.

My "princess" is 15 years old....she wakes me up between 5am and 6:30 every day like I'm gonna forget to feed her. Gotta love them! As for the wild playing all night, keep the kitten awake as much as possible during the evening, play alot!!

Had a kitten like this - - so much that his name became Insane, still have him and yes he lives up to his name - everyday. He doesn't keep us up at night, just when we are awake he is constantly telling us about the door (he has a thing about doors) and he is very very vocal. He is 2 years old and fixed and INSANE!!!

LOL.. I know what you're going through. You still have a few weeks, if not months before it will settle down. You might try playing with the kitten before bedtime to tire it out. Hang in there.. it will get better!

LOL! We didn't call our cat "Taz" for nothing! It took her about 2 years to really mellow out, though she had calmed down a fair amount by the time she turned one.
Getting her spayed at about 8 months improved things a lot.

♥Definitely by the time they are a year they have pretty much calmed down, also getting them "fixed" sometimes helps them sooner... but my cats are grown and they still get crazy sometimes lol :D Good Luck!♥
