Red wine also have alcohol. which is harmfull for developing brains and organs in kids.

I remember as a kid, my paternal grandparents served Mo(r)gan David (yuck!) with meals every time we ate there - no matter what meal. We were allowed to have a Tab to chase since, I at least, didn't like the taste of the wine. But the wine did give a nice warm feeling that I liked. And yes we were required to have the wine, or we weren't allowed to eat nor have the soda.
Those grandparents passed away while I was still very young - 7 or 8 ish.

They do in France, where even kids drink wine. In the US, it's a matter of underage drinking. Besides, red wine, for example, is not of any use to kids (other than to get a buzz) because they don't face heart problems and clogged arteries (at least, I hope not).

in a lot of countries children do have wine from a young age.. and those countries do not have half of the problems america does with underage drinking...
underage drinking is a taboo topic in america.. and because the drinking age is set so high, when kids DO get their hands on alcohol they go overboard and binge drink
i think exposing kids to alcohol in moderation fairly early on is a good idea--then when they are older it won't be a big deal to be drinking.

You are actually better off drinking grape juice. Apparently it loses some enzyme that is good for you in the fermentation process and besides it tastes just as nice, especially if you get the organic red grape juice.

Beacause their brain can suffer sever damages, and this can affect their behaviour.Doctors recommand red wine ony for adults, it's good for blood presure and heart.
