Don't just have fun all the time. Work as a team on some difficult and demanding long term project. Prepare and plan a herb, fruit, and vegetable garden, harvest it, process the products into gifts for your friends and family -- or even for sale.
It's easy to get along with someone when you are just going on dates and having fun. But that's not a relationship, that's just spending a lot of time with somebody. In a lifetime partnership, people spend a lot more time on NOT fun stuff, stuff like housework, yard work, paying off the mortgage, parenting, supporting each other through hardships. So be sure you choose someone who is a good WORKmate as well as a good PLAYmate.

I would say - trust your intuition.
This is easier said than done, however, when we fall in love, we often become temporarily blinded.....and we shut off the little voice in the back of our heads!
I think the best tip I can give is to take a relationship slowly. That will give you time to reflect......
If they respect you, they will wait for a while....and they might be worth waiting for!
If you leap into bed too soon, the chemistry will really take over, and it is all too easy to make a mistake.
Meet some of their friends........ask them to tell you about their mother.........and you will get a picture of what they are like.
If only I could take my own advice!!!!

If it was that simple every one of us would be in the perfect relationship. There is no way to know. Just make sure you Stop, Look and Listen. You might be able to avoid that train wreck for occurring if you pay close enough attention.

It's not about the time that you spend together......but rather the quality. Find common interest for the 2 of u and start there.

Get them hammered and start a really good argument, then see how much they love/hate you. Plus, they probably won't remember what they said the next day.

you can never determine it using techniques....it is when you look into her/his eyes and see her/him before your future....you will know it for sure...
