People of all religions please?

Question

Help me with this please. I've been struggling with God my whole adult life, I wish it was easy for me to have blind faith but unfortunately I can't, I've gotten to the point where I don't see any real difference between the different religions including my own, which I must admit I haven't spent alltogether very much time studying. I keep telling myslef I don't need proof that God exists because you can say that for example, a beautiful sunset over the ocean is proof, but then again doesn't all the violence and unecessary suffering and evil in the world like traficking of children and women more than counter the beauty in the world? How do you remain faithful in the face of the horrors that happen everyday? Am I going to feel this way until I abandon the issue of proving the existance of a higher power? Because we are real and we feel pain and we know suffering and we know joy, why then is it not also that we can ''know'' the answer to this question?

Maybe you are seeking more reason and logic in God's actions. It does not take "blind faith" to see the truth. I struggled my entire youth, finding the contradictions in my family's belief system of which they still believe. I traveled the world after school and where ever I ended up I took time to study the popular religions. The only thing I found concreted within reason and logic was Kardecist Spiritism in Brazil. Most Brazilians who live by this will tell you it is a lifestyle, as they continue to attend the Catholic Church. Some will say it is a philosophy, and others a religion. Some have attributed it as "True Christianity". It melds science and religion, and offers proof and logic to the questions of life and of the universe a person may be seeking. Once you study it for a time, you begin to understand evolution of humans, and start to feel a calm in your soul, and more oneness with the world, as well as the universe.
The best overview of Kardecist Spiritism is a book I recently read by a doctor who has been studying it since 2001 or so. I have listed this below, it is easily found on amazon.com.

Unfortunately, the world ignored Him in the beginning when He told Adam not to eat of the "forbidden fruit" and things changed when this happened. The book of Genesis explains all of this quite well indeed. God was there for us till WE as a generation decided to turn our backs on Him with evil thoughts and deeds. We and the generations to come from our two ancestors are to blame and we need to come back to Him. God said He will try us for our faith because we must be tried, but at the same time He will protect us because there is a better place than this. God is real as you see the seasons change just so perfectly, how every winter, the leaves manage to come back on the bush, trees provide oxygen and much more. It is the little things that matter but we seem to take for granted and we ask God why all the suffering? Because we as a generation of people have ignored Him so therefore the sufferings, and the evil things take place.

Ok, I want to get a few things clear.

In the begining of your life, God gave you a pen, and he sat you down and said:
"This book is the world. These are all the people around you. You can write your own story, but be warned, there is a reaction for every action, and you can not control the acts of other people. You can only control you. You can change everything , or change nothing at all, it all depends on what you do. If you want my help I'm right here, all you have to do is hand me the pen. But if you ask for my help and keep hold of the pen, I can not do anything for you. You have to trust me completly for me to write for you."
You only have to sit and listen, there is a universal voice that speaks differently to everyone.

I suggest you get yourself a copy of a course in miracles. It makes all of the things you mentioned understandable. You still may not like a lot of what you see happening around you but at least you will be able to understand how these things can happen in the presence of a loving God. The confusion you are feeling is due to the contradictions in the religious teachings you were given.

The course can untangle you from the hold these ideas have on you. It is difficult but it can be done if you have the determination to free yourself from these silly contradictions that have been keeping you uneasy in your relationship with your creator.

First off,you have not been struggling with God,you are struggling with your inability to believe.Do you have kids?,if so.how can you not see God smiling at you when you look into your childs eyes?It is not religion you need,that is man made,you need spirituality and faith.If you were knowledgable on the bible,you would know that satan owns the earth and the atmosphere aroun it,that is why this world is a cesspool of evil,so be in the world,not of it.How do I remain faithful????,it is more like,how do i not,I know the wonders and joy of the Lord,all you have to do is open your eyes

Also, I once had a thought that all religions were from one source (the God of the Bible). But as I read and researched how perfect the Bible was and how other religions contradicted some of its teachings, I had to choose one as all cannot be correct. Therefore I chose the Bible.

Yes, all the horrible things that are happening around the world do test our faith in God, but in times like this is when we need God the most, becuase we need someone to guide us and someone to give us hope during the harshest of times.
If you have questions about your religion, i suggest you ask a priest, and he will help you out.

firstly the proof that god does really exist is that there is a lot of miricales that happens everyday that the science could never explain it n will never can BE SURE .
Me for ex i got 2 miracles , once i got to do an operation the doctor that there was nothing but i waited for 2 days in pain n i was praying but i still have the pain after that i went to the same doctor he said that i gotta do an operation right now n after it he wondered hoiw i didn't die he said to me it was a miracle god saved u n i am soory for the first time n he couldn't explain how did it happen
(SORRY I DON'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE OPERATION BUT IT WAS CRITICAL N IF I WAITED I WOULD DIE BUT I DIDN'T , BELIEVE ME IT'S REAL I SWEAR )
Also my cousin , she had cancer n she was dying but her mother had enough faith to go to a monstrey her daughter will recover she went n the next day the girl was completly recovered n they did checkups n they found no trace for the cancer , the doctors said it was a miracle n never could explain it .
Blieve it i am not telling u lies i swear it's real .
So god exists , there is god , there is haeven n hell .
Also u should read in relegions n choose which one convince u more .
But let me tell u something i hope u do it , pray to god cz there is one god pray to him n say "god if u r there show me urself please i wanna knw if u r here , which relegion is right , tell me , guide me , god help me .....'
Pray n god will lesten to u n he will help u to find ur way to the right relegion n the right beliefs .
But when u pray pray deeply from the bottom of ur heart n dnt give up fast wait give urself time while praying n also have faithn patience if u have these 2 truth to me u will knw ur way .
But be patient , give urself time , have faith , pray from the bottom of ur heart .
And dnt follow those who says there is no god cz there is cz i tried to feel god's existence in my life it gives u peace n help u in ur life n if u r in trouble he will suppoirt u truth to me , there is god .
And dnt follow those who say that u dnt need god in ur life u need him cz if everyone leave u god won't cz he loves u god created u n he loves u more than ur mother n father more than everyone be sure he does .

Give urself time to pray dnt expect a fast result wait for a while n have patience , also read a bout the relegions n see what convinces u n never forget what god will guide u too cz god will guide u if u pray n when god guides ur heart go to someone who knows well in the relegion u were convinced by n this one will guide u to the faith (but choose him carefully n choose the relegion carefully also n be patient )

G.O.D.> GOOD ORDERLY DIRECTON The whole God thing rattles me sometimes and I use that G.O.D. thing and it seems to work. Sometimes just having a Higher Power will do the trick. My H.P. gives me the choise everyday to do right or wrong, 95% of the time I now choose the right choice. Not always easy. The wonders of God, giving us choices instead of just the one!!
