I'm a kid in high school whos being lazy. To most adults that seems normal (it is to some degree). I was not lazy sophomore year in high school. I was actually an over achiever. Then junoir year came around and I got lazy. I know its supposed to be hardest, but I could've done better in my classes if I wasn't so lazy. Next year is my last year in high school then college. How can I stop being lazy and push myself? I'm completely aware that I'm pushing stuff back, and not trying my hardest so I have free time (watch tv) so I really need to do something. This summer I have 12 books to read for AP Psychology, and I've only read one. I want to fix this before school begins. How does someone break a habit they're completely aware of?

Don't waste so much time on Yahoo Answers and the internet in general.

But, seriously, set some goals for yourself. Make the most of the classes you are in; do the reading, answer the questions you are set, follow up on the extra readings the teacher mentions.

The more you put into most activities, the more you get back.

Try setting goals for the day and always achieve them, and everytime you do not do them, try to achieve them the next day plus the next day's goals and that way if you become lazy, you will have twice as much work for the next day.

good luck.
