Every spirit (meaning every prophet) that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in flesh is of God 1 JOHN 4.2 Compare with Holy Qur'an 3:45 and many other Qur’ânic references where Jesus (pbuh) is referred to as the CHRIST.

Brother, we are all members of a single family. I am a Roman Catholic Christian which is said to be the true disiples who never deviated from the path that christ. In the bible it says of a new family rising from a women who was a beliver in christ but was exiled from her husbands house by his second wife, who she herself selected for her husban since she wished to have children...but later after she was thrown out god blessed her and gave her children and housed a new race... But remember the father of both christians and islams are the same... We are one Brother, dont raise such questions (you have selected the category of pease) but your question breaks the bounds!!!

The problem is, that the Quran (written by Muhammad) contradicts both the Old and the New Testament!
I choose to believe the Bible because it was written long before the Quran and because it was written by different people. The Bible is in fact more like a library. It consists of 66books and was written over many centuries. Despite all that, the Bible can be read as a single book. The God from Genesis, is still the same in Revelation and the message remains the same!
The Quran however, was written by a single person, who claimed to have revelation from God, but who contradicted everything this God had said through other people and prophets before!
That does not make sense to me but it's up to you what you want to believe.

Sorry, but the Bible NEVER mentions Muhummed.

In 1 John 3:23 it says "And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ..." That means more that just believing He is a prophet. It means that you believe He was the Son of God and that you follow His commandments. Muslims do not and Muhummed did not.

1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

It is great that the Qur'an has Jesus in it. But so did the history of Josepheus. The test that you mention about everyone who confesses that Jesus came in the flesh is just one test of many. But if one fails that test, you can rule them out immediately.

The Kuran may have said that Christ was also a messenger of God but it insists that Mohammed is the Last Prophet and his word alond would count. This insistence has subsequently assumed an extremist form .There is one sect in Muslims, the Ahmediyas who respect all the messengers of all the religions including Hindu , Christianity etc. but insist that Mohammed was the last one and his teachings alone count. One of the Ahmediyas had risen to be the Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court and the Ahmediyas who are a trading community are normally well off. But a few years back there was such a storm against them that they were divested all positions and eventheir places of worships,Ahmediya mosques--were destroyed.So Christians while they respect Prophet Muhammad they follow the teaching of the Son of God.

but they need to believe that jesus is the son of God not just another prophet......why cant you see that...just read the Bible and you will see the contradictions of the quran

Hon... I hate to tell ya this, but your Muhammad is not it the Bible. You use that one little verse about a comforter to establish that, but the prophecies detailing Christ were numerous, so as there could be NO mistaking that he was the promised Messiah. If Muhammad was so important, wouldn't they have been waiting for him? Wouldn't there have been also numerous prophecies so as to be no mistaking him?
Muhammad said that he was sent because the Bible had been changed, and he'd been charged by God to fix it... but the integrity of the Bible (OUR Bible, not the one Muslims have changed) has been proven.
God has a PLAN to deal with Satan hon, and it is all laid out in our UNALTERED Bible. If you would just read that instead of the one Muslims use, then you would see that! Everything is in harmony there, and it all makes very logical sense. Read it, please. You will see:)

B) We are also sternly warned about FALSE prophets, who if they can, will deceive the very elect.

E) Mohammed's book is a plagiarism of Jewish and Christian holy texts. with a smattering of Beduoin tribal customs thrown in for ease of swallowing.

If you believe that you acknowledge Christ as what He is, then you should agree in what is written in the Bible and follow his teaching or acknowledge him to be worthy of respect. Here is the ultimate test for those who say they believe in Christ; 1John 5: 11says: "And this is the testimony: That God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has Life; he who doesn't have the Son of God does not have Life." Of course then you will say: yes, but the bible has been changed and the words has been slanted and you then immediately justify your unfaithfulness in Christ. Turn your back on Him. Tell us whoever you are, do you really believe in Christ? Did you ever read about someone who loved humanity to the point that he gave himself to shame and death for the sake of men. Do you believe that Christ rose from death and was the first to be given a glorified body that shall never die? Do you believe in Christ to have ascended to Heaven after his resurrection and sat on the right hand side of God? If you do, then quit what you have in your hand now and quickly save your life by putting your life in His hand lest you.... ......Heaven knows what!

Islam is the people that alway have raged war on their own and everyone else. Islam promote hate and encourage murder. The people who follow Islam are by nature angry people. There is some sort of mental defect in their DNA. The ones not affected by DNA are rule by fear. They know if they do not follow the mainstream of Islam they will be killed. These people believe in having many wives but they can.t control one wife unless they beat her or put fear in her. No matter how much wealth or goods they may have they still want what someone else has and will try taking it or they will destroy it. Lastly all i have to say about this...each his own.
