Hi all, I had asked this question before..and I'm taking my chance again..Does anybody know whether it is possible to file a family based immigrant visa petition while an employment based petition is still pending? Thanks..

I don't see why not? Call the immigration office and ask them?

I'm no expert in the field, but it would seem logical to me that only one petition could be filed at a time. The government would supply you with much more reliable information than this forum.

I am going to say I don't have a clue but I am guessing if you have a lawyer you could ask them this question, or you could call one and ask them, or ask a judge or something you know go down to the courthouse which is probably where you'd have to go to do this anyways I am guessing, there is bound to be somebody around there that know the answer to this question, sorry I couldn't be of more help but I really don't know the answer, just maybe a direction to point you in, best of luck to you

you should ask at a place where they do immigration stuff... i don't know :\ Sorry. :PHOpe you find the answer! I had to post up this 80s tune on here 3 times... 3rd time is a charm!!:) i found out who sings the song and i'm happy :D

well one way to find out is to do it. but I don't see why not cause you want to bring your family with you while you work.
