There is bugger all we can do. What's more, there'd be no reason. The effects of global warming on Venus is much too severe and to progressed (not to mention our limitations to accessing the planet) for any real remedy to be put into affect. Why would we spend resources trying to fix up some other planet if we can't even look after our own?

Venus has had a horrible greenhouse effect for as long as humans have been around. I think the point you are trying to make is there is nothing that can be done about the planet Venus, however if we continue to abuse our own planet, Earth will wind up the same way.

Since the planet Venus has a mean temperature of about 900 degrees F now, I wouldn't think there be much to do.

There has been several "global warming" processes on earth in the geological record. All of the big ones were before man learned to record the weather and mostly before man evolved.
We don't know enough about Venuses history to make an intelligent answer to your question..
On earth the process has always reversed itself without the help of man or Al Gore.
Venus is very different and full of different variables.
Good luck with your question....

Using an Alkali Metal Thermoelectric Converter to power huge Refrigerator Plants.
The planets ammonia, butane and water content can be utilized to form an Einstein Refrigerator which has no moving parts. These will reduce the gases and cool the atmosphere, whilst leaving enough cloud layer to protect from the proximity to the Sun.

Venus has global warming issues........? Who knew. Looks like a beautiful place to live, get away from all these selfish humans. Lets build a spaceship and start a colony there.

now that is a question!!
what i think is to somehow stop the caustic reactions from taking place and somehow remove about seventy percent of the carbon
it could also be a good idea to move the planet away from the sun a bit that should about do it

I don't know but I am sure there is some scientist out there with a 100 million dollar government grant working on it.
