i know you feel empowered and in control when guys give you their number so You can call them at Your discretion, but look at it another way....
he's LAZY.
he just wants you to do the heavy lifting for him!
so if and when he wants to call you back, he will!
i say cut your losses and go out for a drink with your friends!
besides, do you really want a lazy boyfriend?

Well, it could be that "later" meant later that week instead of later that day. Another reason is he just went to sleep, or is playing hard to get. Or, like the first guy said, he's a moron!

That's a blow off. Harsh but true. It's a way of avoiding telling you that he doesn't want to talk to you or he's not interested. It's a really crappy way to do it but I think you just got a brush off. Don't bother trying to call him again. If he wants to talk he can find you.

To make you think that they are into you, when they are really not feeling you on the level that you are feeling them but they can't tell you face to face so they let you play the guessing game until you figure it out.
