1. As a special treat on holidays, I make chocolate waffles with caramel syrup, and whipped cream.

2. Oatmeal is always comfort food for me because my father, the breakfast fixer when I was growing up, always made the best. I like mine with a little cinnamon and nutmeg.

1. The breakfast buffet at the Opryland Hotel.
2. A big country breakfast made by my grandmother on her wood-burning kitchen stove.
3. Fresh tomatoes, cantalopes, watermelon, and other produce from the garden or orchard, picked that very morning.
4. A breakfast burrito buffet, where you select the ingredients and make the burrito yourself.
5. Breakfast served in bed.

1. Finnish pancakes, homefries, and coffee from The Hoito restaurant.
2. Sausage Mcmuffin and hashbrown from McD's
3. Ham/cheese strata (I make it night before and bake in morning, awesome on Xmas day)

One of several breads I make... time willing.
Cereal- wheetabix,cornflakes, rice krispies, special k
Scrambled egg and tomatoes.
Melted halloumi cheese in fresh cooked tomatoes without the peel, served with pita bread.

Crisp bacon, maple or brown sugar flavored sausage, scrambled eggs and buttered toast...oh and we love grits here in the south!!!
