No, and he certainly would not be a Christian if he returned today. He would follow the same loving nonjudgmental path he always followed. Which is the exact opposite of the path many who claim to be Christians today are following.
Most of what a lot of so-called Christians say and do amounts to little more than bigotry and hate. If there is even a difference.

Of course, Jesus was a Jew. The word Christian came after he rose from the dead and the early church started. In fact, if you were called a Christian you were cut off from your family, beaten, sometimes murdered. It was NOT a nice thing to be called. Today it is spoke of easily, yet I wonder how many people would call themselves Christians if they had the same consequences as the early church folks!

Jesus was Jewish. Christians worshop him because they want to. Every religion has their own God if it is not Jesus Christ. Them believing in him has nothing to do with thinking they have a relationship with him. In reality, anyone can have a relationship with him no matter what religion they are. Christians have always looked at him to worship.
Personally...I think Buddha is hotter.

You 100% have the right to inquire things because God made me and you with free minds. Jesus(a Jew -his real name "Esau" in Hebrew-from the house of (Israel a great prophet of God).) was the Messaiah latinised to "Christo" and then "Christ". Most if not all what you gonna read in the Bible is other's teachings and innovations like Paul's innovations(His real name Saul a renegade Jew who made a miss of Jesus's teachings) Not only in the Bible Jesus is misunderstood and mistaken for God's son but also in the Jews' sacred book the "Talmud" in which it describe Jesus as a magician and a sorcer and accuses his mother Mary of adultry!!!). In the Quran, Jesus is described as one of the mightest messenger of God with a mission from Him. He is created in the womb of the honored Mary by God's word "be" and he was. He is a Jew from the House of Israel but the Jews accused him of lying. He was neither killed nor crossified but was saved and lifted up to God.

Jesus pbuh was a Jew. Jew in the Hebrew (yehudiy) means “of the tribe of Judah”.
Judah is only one tribe of Israel (Jacob). Jew in that century who follows the teachings of Moses, according to Muslim theology was a Muslim. Just as Moses was a Muslim, and his true followers would be.
The Gospel of John, chapter 5 verse 30 says,
John 5:30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
A muslim is a person who submits his will to almighty God. Jesus says in this verse, ".......I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father ......"
I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father. If you translate into Arabic it means Islam. A person who follows Islam is called as a Muslim. So according to the bible Jesus Pbuh was a Muslim.
===========================
We should consider the fact not just the word. The fact is that Jesus preached to believe in one God. Jesus worshipped one True God. Jesus prayed to God( he even fell on his face and prostrated, bible - Matthew 26:39). Jesus preached ten commandments which are found in the teachings of Islam also. Jesus prohibited pork, wine, blood, dead meat or any food on which any name besides God has been taken. Jesus prohibited adultery, fornication. Jesus used to fast for more than a month, Muslims do fast too continously for 30 days in the month of Ramadan. Jesus practiced circumcision (bible - Luke 2:21), Jesus greeted by saying "peace be on you" (Luke 24:36) same as muslims greet i.e. Assalamoalikum means peace be on you, and last but not least, he prohibits Shirk i.e. Associating partners with God almighty (bible Mark 12:29). The teachings of Christianity was never taught by Jesus. Jesus never said that "he is God". Jesus never said that he came to die for the sins of the world. what Jesus preached,, i mentioned above..So all these teachings are part of Islam. So Jesus was a muslim.

Just be cool, knowyou have relationship with him, and try to teach others
to loosse judgement.
It seems to me today's world is SSSSSOOOOOOOOOO
much like the first coming of Christ
when persons were self rightous, hypocritical and selling things in his fathers house.
which was to be a sanctuary for the poor and sinners, am I wrong here? If so please correct me.
The poor are blamed
The others and us attitude is a shame and a clean house is the sign of a mispent life, get off the couch and in the streets.

Any person who can sacrifice his own life for the spiritual upliftment of mankind to build an egalitarian society is a CHRISTIAN, whether he reads/follows Bible or not.
