Cut baguette in half length wise. Spread over it either an homemade pizza sauce with a little thyme in it or buy some and add a little thyme to it. Spoon over baguettes. Take some cooked sausages and cut either into long strips same size as carrots sticks or just cut them in half length wise. Spread some over the sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over it, add black or green olives or rings of chopped bell pepper. Put in grill. You can leave as it is or cover with other toasted half and slice. I have made this many times and everyone loves it. The thyme adds that little extra taste.
Options: For colour, you can mixed orange and green bell pepper.

To make a good baguette try alot of diverse and different fillings. Making the baguette seem like its an abundance of different tastes really makes a difference. Thin slices of lemon or oan orange makes it look more appealing
