My husband recently lost his job and we are in a tight space! I do not have money for rent. We have a 4 month old son, I am scared! I don't know what to do! PLEASE HELP!

Contact your CHURCH They have funds for these types of situations.
Apply at your local FIA/DSS/DHS - Department of Human Services - Medicaid, Food Stamps, Shelter, Emergency, Utilities.
Contact your local Salvation Army, Good Samaritan, Community Action Agency, And OTHER Social Service Agencies.

Here are some suggestions that may help.
1) You/your husband can try to find anything that will bring in an income. As you don't have any money coming in now, it is not the time to be picky about work. Once you get back on your feet, then you can focus on career.
2) If you have a good relationship with your landlord, let them know that you will be late with the rent (if your check is coming within the next month).
3) I don't know if you have any saving but now is the time to use your reserves. Also, look around at what you have; can you sell something. Sell things that you can do without to get some emergency cash.
4) Ask for help. Try your local church/family members/friends. Apply for government assistance at your local human services office. You may qualify for food stamps, WIC (for your son), and cash assistance. It won't be much, but at least you won't go hungry.

Go look for another job. Somthing, Anything as long asit pays the bills. And wherever you live maybe you need to move to a lower rent place.

Go to the town office and get help with rent,utilities,food,they will help.You yourself can also get a job,and make sure your husband keeps looking for a job to.

Keep looking! Have faith!! You may want to contact some churches to see if they can help until everything gets started and you guys can find new jobs. Good luck!

until you can afford things perhaps moving in with a family member temporarily, also depending on your local you can attempt to get goverment housing, if is an emergency see what aid is out for you temporarily

ur husband should watch 4 another job and hav faith on god.if he give life to u then he will also help u to live ur life.be confident everything will be alright.don't worry at all.

it will only take a week or two to start unemployment. tell your landlord about the situation and insure him they will get the money. good luck.
