The 3rd letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "gimel" which is "camel"...the thirteenth letter is "nun" which is "fishhook"... at twelve years of age we have him at temple, lecturing on the abstruse mysticism of the Hebrew alphabet ... He oft said of his parables ,"let those who have ears to hear, hear" .. Perhaps he taught in a rather bardic fashion, with mysteries linked to layers of meaning in an alphabet he considered embedded with some mystic value ..especially in matters he spoke ... All this would be lost on a St James edition though .. or most of it in translation from the Greek of the Septuagent to the Anglicized Guttenburg prints...
