depends,, male or female? drug induced reality check or moment of clarity? 1st date ?, casual acquaintance? or person you met waiting for a cab? before or after sex? too many martinis or stone cold sober? was this the only lil quip that was said or was there more of this 1960s flashback moment? sounds like it came from a woman, because you are asking ladies. if someone said this to me, at first i'd be at a loss for words, give a look of utter bewilderment, and politely ask " where the heck did that come from" obviously this person is deep... thinks theatrically, wants to shock or impress, testing the waters and is no doubt a little too sure about their bad self! was this person and the statement worth writting about? sounds like it made you a little on the defensive , got you thinking or peaked your interest in a way you are not familiar with, and you are unsure about your exact feelings and shocked & surprised because that conversation is still running thru your head.

I mean, sweet once I figure it out, but too long and confusing. Have to think about it too much and go over it a couple of times.

I'd ask him how long it had been since his last dose of meds. I prefer a guy who doesn't need a "line" (or 2). No speaking in riddles or rhymes either!
