I've been wanting to start a Yahoo discussion groups for people who balance both diabetes and Bipolar, but I wonder if I could get enough to join. What is your opinion?

Thanks to the 2 people who applied so far. It takes 5 people to start a Yahoo group so that it will show up in the listing. I'll get to work on it asap, as I have many Yahoo groups I've already started, but I'd love to hear from at least 3 more here who will promise they'll join it. :-)

I think you've got a realy good idea. I'm not diabetic, but I've "enjoyed" being bipolar-1 since my teens, back in the '60s. Unfortunatly, except for a little encouragement, I don't know how to help you out. I don't know how many it takes to make a group or how you go about rounding them up. Any way, good luck.

The best way to do this is join a bipolar group on Yahoo and then once you've been in there for some time, you may wish to pose the question to interested persons to see if they see a need for such a group. Many bipolar medications cause diabetes, so I don't doubt you will find many people in the same situation.

Diabetes (chronic illnesses in general) and depression tend to be comorbid, but I don't know about bipolar disorder.

I think if you do, then maybe most of the american population will join your group, so i say yes, many people will join your group.
