the key to the perfect lemon drop is using simple syrup..not just dry sugar... it sounds like a pain in the @** but trust me on this....
Make simple syrup and you can store it in the fridge.... always good to keep on hand. use 2 cups water in a sauce pan, heat the waterto a slow simmer and disolve 2 cups of granulated sugar in the water and remove from heat... chill the simple syrup..... again keep it on hand for a quick cocktail...
Now for the Drink:
in a cocktail shaker with ice
2 parts vodka, use a good one, not cheep...
1 part freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 or 1/2 part simple syrup, this is gunna depend on how sweet you like your drinks.... you might have to experiment a bit....
ANYWAY
strain it into a well chilled martini glass with rimming sugar on the rim. garnish with lemonpeel.....
WARNING..... these are addictive...

another way is to put a shot of vodka in a shaker with ice and a shot of sweep and sour, shake it, pour it in a glass, drink it , then bite the lemon dipped in powdered sugar, until I moved here , it was always just a shot of straight vodka, but the sweet and sour makes it taste a little more like lemonade which is a huge difference

Ingredients: Amount:
*Vodka, lemon *1 shot
*lemon * 1 wedge
*sugar * 1 tbsp.
Mixing Instructions:
Cut lemon into wedges. Dip a wedge in sugar, making sure both sides are covered, but not clumpy. Slam a shot of vodka, (absolut citron preferred,) suck on sugar-covered lemon wedge. Very tasty.

If it is the shot use a chilled vodka, citron is even better. Sugarcoat the rim and and suck on a slice of lemon afterwords like people do with a lime after a tequila shot.

carry a lemon to a open window,stick your hand that is holding the lemon out the window and let go of the lemon and watch it hit the ground lol
