Hi there! I need some great ideas for my son's first birthday party. There will probably be about 35 people there, mostly adults. I don't have a pool, and it will be in the fall, but I'd like to make it fun for everyone.

if its mostly adults then you could start with mocktails and the cake cutting and the kiddies dinner leaving time for the adults to have a watch the sun set bbq and a campfire liqour coffee evening. hire a baby sitter to watch the kids while they sleep so everybody has a great time. I have a friend who hired a DJ that let my friend pick out music to play, but the DJ was a former elementary music teacher and he already knew a lot of music first graders liked and he organized games and dances using the music. The kids said it was the best party ever. She said it was the best $$$ she ever spent! Of course, they have many years to experience the BEST EVER but this was the beginning of their best ever!
