I have had horrible sinus problems during the last week. I can barely hear with the ringing too. On top of that I have a bad cough. What is wrong with me and how do I get rid of it? I have been to the doctor and all he gave me was allergy medicine but it has not relieved the pressure that I am experiencing

Go to the drugstore and buy Simply Saline nose spray. Use it to clear your sinuses, a little gross, but it works

This may sound nuts but when I have particularly bad sinus pressure, I eat chile peppers and spicy food. It clears out your sinuses right away and in my experience relieves the pressure. If the medication that your doctor prescribed isn't working let her know so you can use another kind. There are nasal sprays too that can help but the best thing is the talk to your physician.

Have you tried Sudafed?

There is a natural product that is a digestive enzyme by a company called Enzymedica. The product is called MucoStop. It works really well for our family. It should help with your sinus congestion and most likely your cough which may be sinus drainage into your chest.

Here is a link where you can put in your zip code and find a store near you that sells it.

I hope you get better.

Try a Vicks inhaler or Advil cold and sinus works for me also. Plain Vicks vapor rub would work to if your can't fine the inhaler. The inhaler is just so much more convenient because you can throw it in your pocket or purse.

I have been going through the same thing. The doc gave me an antibiotic and antihistamine. Wasn't really working so I started taking Mucinex DM. I am feeling better. Try it....

I would try using nasal saline. Hold one nostril closed and squirt the saline up the other nostril. Repeat with the other nostril. Do this every 5 minutes until your nose is clear. (Keep a paper towel handy.)
