I usally get it in Chinatown in downtown Seattle. You may have to go to the Chinatown district of your nearest metropolitan city.

I agree with Tygirl in that you can get bittermelon in a Chinese market. There are probably more Chinese markets in the US than there are Phillipino markets, so try there first.... Chinese people also eat bittermelon.

Look for an Asian market in the nearest big city. We even have bitter melon at the Asian grocery here in Oklahoma City
