Same as eating cows, chicken and everything else right? Just cause they can be pets don't make em less finger licking

I am a vegan and wouldn't eat them.
People who do eat meat dont make sense to me.
Meat it meat.
How cute is a little lamb or calf or piglet, but they are to be devoured as they aren't kept as pets.

I have eaten dog, maybe I have eaten cat too... you dont always get told what you're eating, and sometimes it's better that way.
Aside from the images of puppies in my mind, the meat itself was really unique tasting.
Quality wise though it was chewy and fatty, and its very very dark meat.
Tastes better than chicken.

Yes, it's just the same as eating chickens, cows, pigs etc... I dont eat lambs coz I had pet lambs, so fair enough if those with pet dogs dont want to eat dog.

Only if I was in a country where this was considered normal (or even a delicacy.) Here in the USA, and in other countries where it's not, then no.

I've heard the meat is very tasty... but here it's like eating someones PET. That I can't do. In some countries those animals are raised as livestock, such as cows and chickens are here. That would be different.

But I am prepared to stand up for the rights of those who DO eat them, as I really don't see that dogs or cats are more important than cows, sheep, etc.!

well, not the same, cattle, cow and chicken are raised for food in this country. dogs and cats are usually pets. however, if in a situation where i was going to starve to death or eat a cat @ dog i probably would, with alot of reluctence and remorse.

I side with Julius from Pulp Fiction. Dog or Pig made taste like pumpkin pie but ill never know cause i wont eat the dirty #$^$^$ #$%^$^.

Given the facts that i have eaten in numerous chineese restaurats.and probably have had one or two servings of garfeild's relatives.but with the right amount of seasonings and spices one would never be able to tell the difference...le meow.le purrrrrrr
