I think its alright if kids have coffee, i've been drinking it with milk since i was 9 and even though I am now 15 and ONLY 4'11, i think the whole stunting your growth thing is false because your height is only determined by your genetic make-up not by what kind of drinks you have.

I had coffee in my bottle, and had coffee almost every breakfast from the time I could sit up utill I left at 18 to go in the Army. It was mostly milk and sugar, but my mom use to boil the coffee in a pot, no purculator or anything. Ive seen dudes so addicted to coffee they get the shakes. Me ,no problem. In Germany its strange, they dont want their kids to drink Coke becase of the caffine but when their kids start smoking at 8 they smoke with them.

No because coffee has bad effects on a child's growth. Coffee has been proven to stunt growth and in younger children it could make them extremely hyper. Also it stains teeth and causes bad breath but toothpaste can fix that. As far as coffee waking you up in the morning its been proven that apples wake you up more than coffee and one a day will actually keep the doctor away.

I think that kids can drink anything they want, however they should manage to drink certain amounts of coffee because alot of coffee isn't good for your body. It depends, some may like it but others not. I say kids are free to taste new drinks, like that they can learn about staying healthy.

I started drinking coffee when I was about 10 or 11 - and I turned out okay. My daughter (11) likes to have a cup every now and then, esp. when we go hunting. But, her's is about 1/3 milk, plus she likes the flavored stuff like I do.

Probably not because they usually have enough energy already and it stunts their growth. But I did drink coffee when I was a kid and I am not addicted to it today. I only have one cup a day.

Definitely not. They can be rambuncous enough without the caffeine in coffee (and cola for that matter). My son had a large glass of Coke one afternoon and he was still talking as he fell asleep. I certainly wouldn't let him have any more after that.

All depends on the age and of they are used to caffeine in their diet. Coffee is much more healthier than say - soda.
