When my girlfriend went in for a checkup she was diagnosed with Chlamydia. The doctor said I need to be tested too. My test came back clean, free of any STD. I have been having sex with her for over two years now and never using protection. Is any of this possible? Does this mean she’s cheating on me? If she is cheating on me how could I have completely avoided that virus?

Some organisms are more resistant than others. Your immune system worked very well for this virus, however may not work that good for another STD viruses, so... Be careful!

yes it may very well mean that you lucked out this time, or it could mean that it is lying dormant for now. It takes longer in males for ST D's to come out. It is also harder for a man to receive it than it is for a women. Follow your doctors advise and yes it does mean she is cheating on you.

i know how you are feeling, ive been married for ten years, and a couple of months ago he wanted to have sex, so as you do i went to arouse him first and felt tiny lumps on him, well i wouldnt touch him until he had been to the doc, he did that and was told he had genital warts, so we both went for a checkup humiliating, for me as im very clean, i was told either one of us could be a carrier and not know it we could have it ten years then something worries you and it comes on then ,at first i found it hard to belive and accused him of straying, but he swore he hadnt, so i have to belive him we found out all my tests came back negative and there fore he his the carrier,it can de dormant for years then suddenly appear, wich can be a shock to the other person, you either have to trust each other and work through it together

Don't ask questions, but start using protection right away. The best protection is abstinence.
