Should Israel bomb Iran's nuclear facilities?

If they don't, Iran will nuke Israel, so does Israel really have any choice?

I didn't ask if Israel should use nuclear bombs; that would make no sense. I asked if they should bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. Many responders don't seem to understand that.

Bill S, good post, however I don't believe Israel wants to wipe out islam like islam wants to wipe out judism. It's part of the muslim faith to kill infidels, read the koran 8:22. The jews are content to let muslims and christians believe whatever they want, in fact the jews don't try very hard to convert people. Ok, let's analyze what you've said.

1) You say Israel is a terrible rotten ountry. Sounds like you're justifing them getting nuked, which is all the more reason for Israel to take pre-emptive action.

2) You say Iran wants peaceful nuclear reactors. They have lots of oil, why do they need nuclear reactors? You seem to be saying that Iran isn't trying to develope a nuclear bomb. Then you talk about how many nuclear bombs Israel has, justifying Iran having nuclear bombs.

3) You talk about how the US is a bully. Yes, we make countries do things they don't want to do, things like:

Have free elections
Stop beheading people for being christian
Let women go to school and not wear burkas
Use your oil revenue for schools, hospitals, roads, and don't spend it all on military
Don't invade your neighbors
Don't gas groups within your border that are of a different religion

It's real simple. Iran can't be allowed to have nuclear bombs, because if they get them, they'll use them on Israel or give them to terrorists to use on the US. The best thing for Iran is for Israel to bomb their facilities so they can't develope nuclear bombs. If they do develope nuclear bombs, they'll use them, and we'll turn Iran into a big burnt spot. We and Israel will melt every grain of sand in Iran. BELIEVE IT! ALL your people will die. So hope that Israel bombs your nuclear facilities.

No, because that would turn world opinion against them and Israel itself would suffer from the radiation fallout (if Iran's facilities are as big as claimed).......besides, nuclear weapons only serve to mainly kill loads of innocent people. HOWEVER, it wouldnt be a bad idea for Israel to have a constant-alert nuclear deterrent like America's SAC of the cold war era.....if they constantly have a fleet of bombers and missiles armed with nukes pointed at Iran ready to launch in a second's notice...then the Nukes might actually do an incredible thing and ensure peace by acting as a deterrent.

Israel HAS nuclear weapons, IRAN is being ACCUSED of attempting to build nuclear warheads, however they are saying that they are only after peacfuly nucelar energy. The last time I checked, the US gov't LIED about the WMDs in Iraq and now they are LYING again about Iran's nuclear ambitions. No. Israel should stay out of it for now. Because it would be seen by the Muslim world as an attack on their religion. Iran will be dealt with, and Israel knows this. Yes Israel is most likely first on Irans hit list, infact he has said so, but the one thing this world does not need is for the Muslim world to beleive their religion is under attack. This would insite them through out the entire world. And we would have to fight a holy war, just to protect ourselves.
We are dealing with a radical group that wants a holy war, they want everyone to think like them, dress like them, and act like them, given any excuse there will be an uprising.

Persian boy you complain about her not educating herself, educate your self as well. There were stories all ove the web last week from several different sources about the WMDs that were found. They are not the one's we were looking for but WMDs are WMDs. On top of this Iran is a known sponsor of terror, and it is know that they cannot be trusted. It is also know that they are not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to making decisions on war.

They are dumb enough to launch nukes. Most middle eastern countries are, this includes Israile folks. Just as the muslims would like to see them go, they would like to see the Muslims go just as bad. Israel has waged holy war in that area for years.
