Chlamydia is treated with an antibiotic and goes away with proper treatment...so yes, it is curable. The damage done isn't...people normally have it a while before they know it and it damages fertility during that time. I think people take the Chlamydia antibiotic for only 5 days, so yeah, you would get diagnosed and treated in a week. Although you do have to be tested again to make sure it is gone and that you do not need another round of antibiotics.

Yes, some STD are curable with antibiotics. Some that are not include HPV, HIV, AIDS, Herpes- once you have one of these you have it forever. Sometimes HPV will clear on its own, but there are different strains of HPV; some cause warts, some dont; some change the cells of the cervix and can cause cervical cancer; some dont. If you are going to be sexually active, be sure to protect yourself- always use condoms, and get routine gyno check ups.

Some STD's can be cured. And other's can not be cured. for example herpes and HIV/AIDS are not curable as of yet. If a person takes the meds the doctor gave them and makes sure their partner also gets treatment it is possible. but if your partner is not treated you are taking the meds in vain.

Most of the STDs are curable except for some like the HIV, herpes and HPV which are difficult to treat.

Yes, that is highly possible. Chlamydia is a bacteria infection. Some STDs can be cured with antibiotics. Most cannot be cured at all.

chlamydia is curable, you take an antibiotic...if your doctor is nice he'll prescribe it as a 1 dose pill. takes a couple of weeks to work and then voila, its gone.
