What are your thoughts on dating someone that is HIV+?

I am open to having HIV+ friends. Dating is another story, however. I have HPV. That virus is dreadful enough. AIDS is an infinite amount of times worse. No, thanks... One minute of pleasure is not worth a lifetime of misery and illness.

Just don't have unprotected sex be careful. However if you like or love the person I don't think that should affect you're ability to date them. To ease your minds, whoever said there's a 99.9% chance of contracting the virus is dead wrong. That only if you continue to have unprotected vaginal intercourse, then eventually yeah it probably will happen.

If you're smart and safe dating someone with HIV should be fine, it's still risky but you shouldn't hold that against your partner.

Why wouldnt you date someone with HIV. As long as your careful and make the right choices on how far your going to go, and what your going to do to protect yourself. Everyone deserves to be happy, no matter what mistakes we have made. If your looking for approval, go for it. If your looking to date, dont hold yourself back
