Is it healthy to dine out?

I prefer to cook my own food at home, i find it difficult to dine out because those that once dinned out complain about how dirty the environment is, or how the the dish is not properly prepared.

no its not healthy to always dine out but its better that you cook because you know what you put in there and you won't complain about the food

It depends to what place you go and dine in. Well for me, it is safe because i have never heard someone got killed because of dining out, its a matter of your choice and if you find the place dirty and you dont like the menu they offer then find another place, that easy. But like you, i prefer to stay at home and cook because we can save time and money. Dining out is too expensive.

It is not unhealthy to dine out it is simply a matter of finding the right restaurant. Contact you local chamber of commerce for a recommendation on a good restaurant. I find in most cases a waiter or waitress can be helpful in pointing out healthier options on the menu. I am a chef and to be honest most kitchens are very clean, we are subject to random inspections by the board of health and if the kitchen is dirty they close you down.

I eat out a lot and, except for certain restaurants where I live, they are all clean and know how to cook food properly. If they weren't, chain restaurants would never survive.

Not really. You tend to overeat because they give you 2-3 servings on the plate and cook with alot more unhealthy fats.
