It really doesn't matter where she got it from. It's not like finding out who gave it to her is going to make it go away or change anything.
You can have HPV (Human papillomavirus) for years and not have any symptoms! I have had HPV for 5 years now. I didn't develop genital warts until about 6 months ago! So, she might have the virus, she just isn't showing any signs of it. The best thing she can do now is to see an OBGYN and get a pap smear done. HPV can cause abnormal cells on the cervix which can lead to cervical cancer. (That's how I found out I had HPV!) Cervical cancer kills 300,000 women a year, so it is very important that she does this.
As for him, he can see a doctor to get some medication to treat the warts, but there is no way to know if he has the virus. Currently there is no test for men to detect the HPV virus.
For the most part HPV really doesn't do anything, and as long as you are in good health and are seeing the doctor regularly you should be fine. The real major concern with HPV is the cervical cancer. As long as she is seeing her OBGYN and getting her yearly pap smears done she should be okay.

It sounds exactly like genital warts, and you will not have any symptoms at first. You both need to go the to doc and get treated, then deal with your man.

Genital herpes is passed on through skin contact with an infected person. The virus affects the areas where it enters the body. This can be by:
kissing (mouth to mouth)
penetrative sex (when the penis enters the vagina, mouth or anus)
oral sex (from the mouth to the genitals).
At this time the virus is highly infectious.

When it comes to HPV and Herpes your immune system has a lot to do with how or when you show symptoms. A person can carry either of the viruses for years before having outbreaks or warts. You can also transmit either of the viruses while not knowing you even have them.
