I personally don't know how it feels to have diabetes but I do know how it feels to be married to someone who has Type I diabetes and to be related to others with Type II. I am really not sure what you want to know or exactly what you are asking.

I am diabetic. No one who does not have diabetes, or any other condition , can know how I, or anyone else with the condition, feels. I cannot say for sure how anyone else feels about diabetes. Each person has to make their own adjustment and acceptance of conditions.

I don't understand the question. Do you mean how does it feel to have the diabetes [for the person who has it] or how does it feel to have a member of the family have diabetes?
I wouldn't know how it feels unless I have it. Just like I wouldn't know how it feels to have cancer or a heart attack - unless I have them.

My brother and I have diabetes; our grandma on our mother's side and our grandpa on our father's side, as well as our uncle on our father's side all had diabetes. Our grandma on our mother's side had 4 siblings, and all of them had diabetes as well. Our sister (half sister on mother's side) has gestational diabetes when pregnant.

So, yes I know how it feels to have diabetes. It can suck at times, but other times it is easier and no big deal (even though the effects of poor control are a big deal).

I am diabetic and show are some of my aunt's and uncle's. It can be scary, but always going to the Dr. and keeping your self healthy can make it not seem so bad. Just watching what you eat and exercise and you can be just as normal as anybody else.
