If a guy does have herpes though, he should inform his wife. If they plan on having a baby in the future there is a possibility that the man can spread the virus to the women and when she delivers her baby the baby can get it when it comes through the birth canal.

Yes as long as you are honest. My sisters hubby decided to cheat on my sister and brought her home herpes. When she was preg with my nephew they had to perform a c section on her because she had an outbreak. Sucks because my sister now believes that no one will want to be with her because of that idiot giving her a std.
