There are 20.8 million children and adults in the United States, or 7% of the population, who have diabetes. While an estimated 14.6 million have been diagnosed with diabetes, unfortunately, 6.2 million people (or nearly one-third) are unaware that they have the disease.

Its not only from eating sugar or not eating it, diabetes comes as a very serious sickness, from stress also, disappointment and other emotional crisis! Sugar is just one more little thing that will help this sickness become deadly! I don't know the exact number of people in USA that have diabetes, but I can say a lot of them have it because of the reasons I have mentioned above!
