There is no cure currently for the herpes virus. It is a virus and will stay with you the rest of your life.

If you have it, the only thing you can do is take medication to suppress the virus and prevent breakouts. Medication can be taken daily or just when you are having an outbreak or "feel" an outbreak coming.

There are a few medications that someone can take. Acyclovir (Zovirax) tablets, famciclovir (Famvir) tablets, and valacyclovir (Valtrex) tablets. There is also an acyclovir (Zovirax ointment), but it offers little benefit in the treatment of genital herpes and is not recommended.

If you don't have herpes the best thing you can do is to protect yourself. Always wear a condom, or if you are a girl, insist the guy does. Although condoms are NOT 100% effective they are the best thing you can do to prevent getting the virus, other then abstinence.

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.

Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/HerpesCures2o15Ga4b

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

There's no cure, but application of a topical antibiotic ointment to active lesions can stop a outbreak. You can still transmit herpes even if you aren't having an outbreak, though.

There is no cure for herpes but there are natural treatments available to help with the symptons. It is just a matter of finding one that works well for you. Choraphor is a natural treatment that works for most people and reduces outbreaks to virtually nil. Each time you have an outbreak and apply choraphor it seems to kill the virus and outbreaks are less painful because they heal so quickly. Happy Hunting...
