Yes, it bothers me. I wouldn't want my food on the same pan that meat had been cooked on, or someone to touch meat, then touch anything I might be eating or eating off of. I have to say though, as the years progressed, I became more picky about that. When I first became a vegetarian, I didn't mind picking off the pepperonis off a frozen pizza.

I don't eat stew since it is generally made in a beef stock.
I can deal with a half vegi half pepperoni pizza since the pepperoni won't be on my slices of pizza.
The lunchmeat on the the sammich I can deal with so long as it isn't roast beef (bloody stuff).
I don't like it when grease gets on my food. For instance, up at college at one of the delis, they would make the bacon for the blts and grilled cheese on the same grill thingy. I won't eat a grilled cheese since it is cooking in bacon grease.
I won't pick the meat out of any dish really.

It depends. To use your examples:
I could not pick beef out of stew because of the juices that would be on everything and would make me sick. I have actually picked pepperoni off of pizza and ate it. If it was a sandwich I ordered, I would send it back, otherwise just pick the meat off. When my husband and I grill out, he cooks his food on a different part of the grill then mine. I know this is probably more information than you asked for, but it just depends!! It's been so long since I ate beef that the sight and smell makes me a little sick,so I steer clear of it!!

I prefer it if my food does not come in contact with meat. I'm happy to cook meat for my partner, but I wash the knives and have a separate cutting board for meat. If I found a little bit of meat in food when I was in a restaurant, I would probably send it back. I do not like the greasy taste of food when it has been cooked on the same griller etc. as meat.

Yeah, it does bother me...even if there's a little piece of meat somewhere in my sandwitch or something, i get really upset. I try to follow my religion as close as possible. You probabbly are thinking that i'm very picky, but that's just how i've been brought up. the whole "holy cow" thing really relates to my culture and we do consider cows holy, and if we do eat beef or any other meat, it's a big sin to us.

Personally for me if I know any meat has touched my food I refuse to eat it. I don't even eat gelatin or seafood, but I do eat eggs I prefer organic that's what I buy and dairy.

Yes, they should not put meat next to food, because the greasey blood runs over to the vegetables.
