After you retire u can relax, take it easy, here's some ideas.....

You could sit out in your backyard and drink ice tea while you hear the birds chriping in the distance. This is the time to enjoy life! Go take a vacation wit your husband or wife or even a relative to the cottage and spend the week there going on hiking trails and go canoing. My great gramma is now retired and joins clubs such as the scrabble club. You should try it!

Hope that helps :)

great question!
I will hopefully retire to a life of luxury and Viagra. Spending my days hitting on 21-25 year old women, maybe even getting a few smooches from them...
Playing golf all day, then watching the grand kids in their after school activities. Then bikini parties by the pool at night. Drinks will be plentiful.
As I get older I will realize that getting old means getting better as I play even more golf and become the sweet old guy that all the pretty young ladies can't get enough of. yeah thats cool...

As a single, disabled mother, I will never be able to retire. I will still be working at age 75, if God willing, I am physically able to do so. By that time, the premiums on my health care will comprise about half my income, and rent will take the other half. As for long-term care, my sons have assured me they will pull the plug when the time comes. I will be having to choose between medication and food, and getting enough of neither. What a cheerful picture! Makes me want to put Kevorkian on my speed-dial :).

Let's see. After I retired I took up competitive swimming and held 1/4 of a world record in international Master Games competition (it was a 4-person relay team who set the record), started competitive paddling and placed 10th in the world, and had five books published. Other than that, it's been pretty dull...

I can't retire by the time I'm old they'll be no retirement plans or social security. I'll be a greeter at Walmart.

Well as I am going to retire soon, my plans are to do some voluntary work so that I dont rust at home. I also plan to get two Siamese kittens to have around me as I love cats.

Find a nice place where it's fairly warm all year. With a large garden. Sit back and drink lemonade or Mikes' Hard Lemonade under the shade of a large tree.

At current price increases for everything, I will never be able to retire. I'll just have to work until I die.

Not sure, but I definitely won't mow my lawn every single day and hose down my paved driveway like all the elderly retired people in my neighborhood seem to do! LOL.

I think I would be too bored if I did retire. I'll probably work forever.
