Sweet tropical fruits like banana, mango, pineapple and coconut are defiinitely WAY up there on the glycemic index, but the highest sugar content fruit of all is actually.... dates.

I was an Apple-Pear from Okinawa. People call it an Asian Pear here in the US, but they are NOT the same, they are picked green and shipped her - therefore not much taste. We could buy them fresh and they were so sweet and juicy - unbelievable!
