Yes, but wearing a condom will greatly eliminate the risk.

It is very difficult to have anal sex and not have an exchange of fluids or tearing. You're running a high possibility of contracting HIV if your having anal sex without adequate protection (eg. condom) and you must remember that even shallow penetration can facilitate the transfer of the virus. In fact, most HIV infection occur in this instance because people believe that shallow penetration is not risky when this isnt the case!

Man or woman, yes it is possible and remember that the chances of getting HIV during anal sex is greater than vaginal sex because the rectum does not provide any natural lubrication and the constant friction in the anal walls usually results in bleeding.

Yes, there is potential to being exposed to the HIV virus with any bodily fluid transfer. Which can include transmision during anal sex. This does include sex with women as well.
Any kind of sexual contact can potentually lead to contracting HIV, Oral, Anal, or Straight Vaginal Intercourse.
Best advice is to know your partner, and if (he/she) has had alot of other partners suggest to them they get tested before YOU become sexually active with them. 8 out of 10 infections occur because neither person is aware that the one is already infected.

Yes you can - what you describe here - exchange of fluids and tearing is related to the transmission of HIV. However, Exposing a mucous membrane is also risky. You have a mucous membrane in the opening at the end of your penis. This is why oral sex is also risky - your mouth is just one big huge, mucous membrane. Don't do it without protection, unless you've both talked to a doctor first, and even then it is risky - because other things come from that, too like Hepatitis. It's dirty in there, remember?

Unprotected anal sex even if very soft has a much higher percentage of transmitting HIV than unprotected vaginal or oral sex.
Be smart & use condoms or better yet, dont do anal sex since the anus is not ment for penetration. It's ment for something else...

you can get HIV from having sex with anyone, either anal or vaginal or oral. Thats why you should always use protection when having skin to skin sexual contact, or any time body fluids are exchanged (except kissing)

Are you saying you wore a condom?..if this is the case and there wasn't any small tear in the condom then you shouldn't have been exposed to blood or body fluids..this is what exposes you to the virus..

Yes! In fact you can contract any disease easier from anal sex than vaginal sex. Especially AIDS!! Why do you think that they called it the gay mans disease for so long?

You can never be sure that there was no teeny weeny tear on both sides. That alone would be sufficient. You should both get testetd, now, and again in six months.
