He was born in St. Louis, Missouri.

I don't know much about Eliot other than the musical "Cats" was based on his work, but Yahoo! Answers takes points because it's called "Yahoo! ANSWERS" if you want points for questions maybe they should add a companion section for "Yahoo! Questions" then you'd lose points for answering. Then we'd probably all be at "0" unless we're really a bunch of busybody know-it-alls and don't know it. :O

I dont know too many facts about Eliot, but Im guessing Yahoo is punishing people for trying to learn and not reward everyone.

Probably so people will answer other peoples questions. I mean, if you never lost any points then you wouldn't feel the need to earn so less peoples questions get answered. Also so stupid questions that people are just joking around about don't get put up. So I think it's to motivate us.
