All nuts are high in fat but they're mostly healthy fats. Peanuts are legumes not officially nuts. From what I've read walnuts, almonds and pecans are the highest in antioxidants. I buy raw, organic almonds and walnuts. I soak them overnight and dry them. I would eat only raw nuts because roasting alters the fats into a potentially unhealthy form.

I don't know which type of nut is the healthiest or has the least fat, but I do know that you should stay away from all roasted nuts.Only eat the non-roasted,unsalted kind.

Try almond milk. It is delicious. Odwalla puts a product out and they charge about $3 a bottle. If you are weight conscious, it is not advisable to eat a large amount of nuts. Although they are good for you they are high in calories.
